Pressure Washer ReSimpson MSH3125-S MegaShot 3100 PSI 2.5 GPM Pressure Washerviews

I will be reviewing the top of the line models of both Gas and Electric Pressure Washers as well as helping you decide when you might need a gas model or and electric model. Because why spend more than you have to unless you really need it? So if you are looking for a pressure washer, be it to get those stubborn oil stains out of the driveway during spring cleaning,or make that old deck look brand new again, or to simply get all the moss off the stairs and the walls I will help you choose the right pressure washer for the job.

Gas Or Electric Pressure Washers

When choosing a pressure washer Gas or electric is really a big decision. There are a lot of trade offs based on this decision to go gas or electric in your pressure washer buying decision. Everything from size, weight how much pressure the machine puts out to how much it costs is determined by whether or not it is gas or electric-powered. Not to say that the gas machine is always more expensive or more powerful. But that is generally the case with pressure washers.

Electric Pressure Washers

The benefits of an electric pressure washer are several. For one they definitely cost less than a gas pressure washer you can get a quality electric pressure washer in the $100.00 and up range. Which is really a great deal. An electric pressure washer does not put out as much pressure as your typical gKarcher X Series Electric Pressure Washeras pressure washer. An electric pressure washer will usually be a smaller machine. Typically an electric pressure washer runs in the 1900 to 2000 psi  and uses about 1.4 to 1.5 GPM. What do those fancy acronyms mean? Well, PSI means pounds per square inch. and GPM means gallons of water per minute. Not only all of that but typically an electric pressure washer will take up a whole lot less space in your garage when you are not using it. But if you look at the list below as you can see you will find more and more things to pull it out and clean with it. Simply because a pressure washer does the job so well in so little time. One of the downsides of electric pressure washers is you are dependant on electric cords so you either need a dedicated plug which doesn’t matter if you are around the house or you need a good generator. Another benefit of electric pressure washers is they are very quiet compared to gas machines. This is a definite benefit.

What Can You Clean With An Electric Pressure Washer

  • Garage and Driveways
  • Patios and Decks
  • House siding
  • Fences
  • Outdoor Furniture at the end of Summer before you put it away for winter

Gas Powered Pressure Washers

Gas Pressure Washers are built for big jobs. These machines put out a lot of pressure. I am talking about 2700 to 3200 plus psi running 2.5 gpm. That is a lot of power. Gas  pressure washer typically cost a little more than electric models but they will give you more power for the price. So that same large deck that you had to go over twice with the electric pressure washer. Now, you can just do it once, with the gas-powered pressure washer. How is that for time savings. Not to mention that there are no electrical cords to worry about with these machines.

  • Oil and Grease From Your Driveway
  • Large Decks and Patios
  • Outbuildings
  • Graffiti Removal

As you can see a gas pressure washer can do most of the things an electric pressure washer can. It just does it without cords and with a lot more power. About the more power in some situations you need to be careful of that power and use the wide-angle tips. After all the straight tip on some gas pressure washers will etch metal. Another downside of gas pressure washers is the sound. They are noisy. So if you do get one of these machines make sure to get some hearing protection I recommend this pair ear muffs. Also think of your neighbors so don’t use one of these machines early in the mornings or late at night it’s just the neighborly thing to do.

MacBook Case Reviews

MacBook Case Reviews

You just got a shiny new MacBook Pro or MacBook Air, lucky you.  I know it seems counterintuitive but we Speck MacBook Casebuy Apple products for their beauty and simplicity of design and the first thing we do is look for some case or cover to put them in or put on them

If you think about it how much of your life is stored on your laptop? So, if you leave it on the roof of your car and drive away you don’t want it to be damaged when it inevitably falls to the ground. Hopefully something like this  doesn’t happen to you.  One of the best things you can do to protect your MacBook Air or MacBook Pro is invest in a case or a sleeve for your new Mac. In this post I will be reviewing several MacBook Cases of all types and in all price ranges so there will be something for everyone and anyone.

Three Types Of Cases For Your MacBook

  • Hardshell Case
  • Sleeve
  • Backpack or Bag Type Case
  • Living Dangerously

If you look at this list the last item on the list is living dangerously and to me that is not really an option. Put simply you are walking around with a new MacBook that cost upwards of two thousand dollars in some cases not to mention the value of all the data that’s stored inside. If you think of what is on your laptop to me it’s pictures, it’s Topcase Rubberized Hard Casebusiness files, music everything. One of the first things you should buy as a new MacBook owner in my opinion is a Hardshell case. There are so many choices out there in the marketplace how do you really choose? There are lower end hardshell cases for people who just really want to carry their MacBook from their desk to the table in the kitchen at their house. So if you are that person you really don’t need that much protection so just getting one of the cheaper hardshell cases is fine for you. You are just trying to protect your MacBook from the occasional drop or bump but then there are people who are going to be taking their MacBook everywhere from work to every coffee shop in town.

MacBook Sleeves

MacBook Sleeves are a really great option for people who carry their MacBook around a lot. So if you are walking to and from your car or into different work sites or client sites then I would recommend getting a MacBook Sleeve. For a greater level of protection I would carry my MacBook in a Hardshell case in a Sleeve. This way your Mac is protected from harder drops from just carrying it around. Then when you do take it out of the sleeve you have the protection of the hardshell.

Backpacks or Bags For Your Macbook

If you are a student or someone who is always on the go with their MacBook you will definitely need a backpack or some type of padded bag for your MacBook as well as all of the other stuff you need to carry for work or school or just your life. One thing nice about Laptop bags and Mac bags in particular is in the old days of laptops they all came in one color black. So if you liked black that was great but if you had any sense of style or wanted something different too bad. That’s not the case anymore there are many styles and colors to choose from.

The Best Protection For Your MacBook

Truly the best protection for your MacBook is a hardcase put in a MacBook sleeve then when you are going place to place you put the sleeve in a backpack or padded bag that is actually made for a laptop. Which means it is made especially for your MacBook.
